On August 2, 2024, representatives from Okcheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, signed a cooperation agreement to export grapes with the Hansarang Trading Company and Hand & Hand Co., Ltd. of Vietnam.
The district plans to collaborate with the Okcheon APC Grape Export Agricultural Cooperative, which comprises local grape farmers, to export approximately 50 tons of Shine Muscat grapes to Vietnam by October this year.
Grapes from this region have been exported to the New Zealand market since 2012 and to Hong Kong since 2017.
A representative from Okcheon district stated, “Hand & Hand Co., Ltd., as the importing company, is known for its reputation and quality in Vietnam.”
